Moscow ticket sales commence
Thursday 28 February 2008
Ticket sales to the general public for the 2008 UEFA Champions League final in Moscow have kicked off exclusively via uefa.com. The final of European club football's most prestigious competition takes place at the Luzhniki Stadium in Moscow on Wednesday 21 May at 20.45CET (22.45 local time).
Public sales process
The international general public ticket sales process began on Thursday 28 February at 12.00CET and will end on 19 March at 12.00CET. The application process will be undertaken exclusively via uefa.com. Each applicant has to fully complete the online application form. The allocation will be decided by lottery (ballot), and every valid application will enter the ballot, independently of the time of submission within the application period. Each successful candidate will be entitled to a maximum of two tickets.
Price categories
With the submission of the application, the applicant accepts the ticketing terms and conditions. Ticket price categories available to the general public are:
Price Category 1 (centrally positioned) 200;
Price Category 2 (mainly in the corners) 140;
Price Category 3 (next to Category 2 seats, behind goals) 80.
The administrative fee is 10 if you order tickets from within Russia, 30 from within Europe and 40 from outside Europe. Payment can be made by credit card only (Eurocard/MasterCard, Visa). Applicants will be informed via email by 2 April at the latest whether they have been successful or not, and tickets will be dispatched from mid-April by secure mailing.
Distribution of tickets
The net capacity of the Luzhniki Stadium for the UEFA Champions League final will be 69,500. A total of 75 per cent of the tickets are reserved for the general public and the supporters of the two finalists. Each finalist club is able to take up to 21,000 tickets and distribute these directly to its supporters, while 10,500 tickets are available for sale to fans worldwide via uefa.com.
Do not deal with touts
All applicants will be bound by the ticketing terms and conditions, and action will be taken in cases of infringement. Online applications will be checked to ensure that anyone banned from attending football matches is unsuccessful in any attempt to purchase tickets. UEFA underlines that no tickets are being distributed via agencies or brokers. UEFA also encourages fans not to be lured into deals with touts who not only demand exorbitant prices, but are often not in possession of the tickets they purport to have for sale. Terms and conditions will be available on uefa.com.

Apply now for UEFA Cup final tickets
Thursday 14 February 2008-
Tickets have gone on sale via uefa.com for the 2008 UEFA Cup final, to be played at the City of Manchester Stadium in England on 14 May.
Lottery decider
The general public will be able to apply for up to two tickets between today and 16 March at midnight CET. Once the application period has finished, allocation will be decided by lottery with every valid application entering the ballot, regardless of the time of submission within the application period.
Ticket allocation
The net capacity of the City of Manchester Stadium for the final will be 44,000. There are 11,000 tickets available for sale to fans worldwide, while around 60 per cent of the stadium capacity is reserved for supporters of the two finalists, with each club able to take up to 13,000 tickets and distribute these directly to their fans. A total of 7,000 tickets will be allocated to the European football family, comprising UEFA, national associations, commercial partners and broadcasters, and the Local Organising Committee.
Seating categories
Several price categories are available for the general public (VAT included):
category 1 (£95.00);
category 2 (£75.00);
category 3 (£55.00); disabled (£35.00).
Administration charges (including postal charges and VAT) will be applied for each ticket order, with successful UK-based applicants being levied an additional £7; ticket holders from mainland Europe being charged £15; and those from the rest of the world paying £20.
Credit cards only
Payment can be made by credit card only (Eurocard/MasterCard and Visa) and applicants will be advised by 25 March if they have been successful or not. Tickets will be dispatched as from 18 April by express courier. Any information requests should be addressed to the host association:
by phone on +44 (0) 8707 14 05 08 (from 14 February to 14 May);
by email to uefacupfinal2008@mcfc.co.uk.
Terms and conditions
All applicants are bound by the ticketing terms and conditions. Action will be taken in cases of infringement. Online applications will be checked against police data to ensure that anyone banned from stadiums is unsuccessful in any attempt to purchase tickets. Persons attending the final are warned that tickets will be personalised and that security checks at the stadium are planned. UEFA underlines that no tickets are being distributed via agencies or brokers.
Tout warning
The only official sales channel for the general public will be uefa.com, UEFA's official website. The two finalist clubs will distribute their own allocation of tickets to their supporters. Once the two finalists are known at the beginning of May, the clubs will communicate in detail how they operate the sales to their fans. UEFA encourages supporters not to be lured into deals with touts, who not only demand exorbitant prices but are often not in possession of the tickets they purport to have for sale.
Please note that for site maintenance purposes the sales process will be interrupted between Friday 22 February at 12:00CET, and Sunday 24 February at midnight CET. Sales will then resume until 16 March.
